Frequently Asked Questions

Is my data private?

Yes. Your data stays on your device. We don’t collect, store, or transmit your entries. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Can I recover deleted data?

No. If you delete entries or use “Delete All Data,” they are permanently removed. We recommend exporting a backup periodically.

How do I back up my data?

In the app, go to Settings → Data → Export Backup. Save the file somewhere safe (for example, Files or iCloud Drive).

What devices are supported?

Unsent requires iOS 17 or later and runs on iPhone and iPad.

How do I enable Face ID / Touch ID?

In the app, open Settings → Privacy & Security and enable biometric lock. If biometrics aren’t available, you can still use your device passcode.

Can I use Unsent on multiple devices?

Each device stores its own data locally. To move entries, export a backup on one device and import it on another (import/restore depends on the app version).
